born in the unfortunate position of both the eldest daughter and the middle child, yang minkyung was burdened to be the perfect lady yet woefully ignored in favor of her sweeter siblings. it made sense she would grow to admire the prowess of her stepmother, a successful matchmaker. seeing a younger version of herself in minkyung, her stepmother thoroughly spoiled her, promising her only the best of the best for her precious stepdaughter.
